It’s SHOW TIME, well almost!
Welbury Village Show 2025 will be held Saturday 9th August
Every home should have received a Show Schedule with the July Gazette but just in case it is attached below, as is the recipe from the Welbury cookbook for Class 41
Class 12 in the schedule should read ‘not covered by classes 1-10
Entry forms can be completed and submitted from now until 6pm Thurs 7th Aug. The earlier the better please to aid administration.
Entry forms & fees can be left in the village hall post box or dropped in the green post box of the little gate at Tile Shed Farm or given to Joanne at WI, church, quiz, yoga or if you see me passing.

Welbury WI July meeting this Thursday 7.30pm in the village hall
We have a really entertaining speaker this Thursday. He’s called Kevin Thorne and he made the costumes for many shows and famous actresses. He also dressed Lady Di on her wedding day but that was last year’s talk. He’s back by popular demand with ‘My Life with Celebrities & Fashion’. Guests always welcome.

Herb mangers – the mangers on the walls of the village hall have been inter-planted with herbs. Please feel free to use these if you need some for a recipe. The plants are still establishing so please only take enough for the plants to continue to grow. The nasturtium plants are also edible (all parts are edible…flowers, leaves & seeds).
Yoga – from 13th August floor yoga will be 9.15am-10.15am followed by chair yoga at the usual time of 10.30am-11.30am. Please let Susan Joyce know if you’re planning on attending a session by emailing sjyoga123@gmail.com so she knows how many to expect and can plan a session accordingly.
