Holy week & Easter services at St Leonard’s
Tuesday 31st March Tenebrae – 7pm ( Tenebrae is Latin for darkness or shadows, the church gradually gets darker as candles are extinguished after each reading symbolising the disciples’ desertion and impending death of Jesus)
Maundy Thursday 2nd April 6pm Holy Communion followed by stripping of the altar.
Easter Sunday 5th April 11am service followed by an Easter Egg hunt & refreshments.
