Hello,
Tina Race writes on behalf of the church:
Thank you to all the villagers who donated to the carol singers’ charity on Wednesday evening. £200 was raised for Welbury Church. A special thank you to the seven people from out of the village who joined what were at first, a group of quite depleted singers. A very, very special thank you to villagers who kept energy levels up with sweets but the first prize went to an amazing lady on Spring Hill . She had prepared red and white mulled wine which was fortunately timed just as we were finishing, the rain had started and we were well chilled – never before has it tasted so good!
Many thanks to all.
